ZT Group Intl, Inc. dba ZT Systems is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant in Secaucus, NJ. The role involves maintaining the company's standard costing system and providing detailed analysis of manufacturing performance while ensuring compliance with US GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
• Prior experience with SAP highly desirable.
• Experience and/or knowledge of SOX 404 requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of the company’s standard costing system.
• Perform detailed analysis of manufacturing variances to identify cost improvement opportunities.
• Prepare and record monthly journal entries related to inventory and cost of goods sold.
• Conduct regular reviews of Bills of Materials and routing.
• Participate in the month-end close process by reconciling inventory sub-ledgers.
