Job summary

Premier PV LLC is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to lead cost accounting for high-volume manufacturing. You will manage standard costs, BOM/routing accuracy, and variance analysis, partnering with Operations and IT to influence cost control and margin improvements.

The role supports month-end close, forecasting, and budgeting, serving as a costing SME across ERP configurations and cross-functional initiatives. A strong GAAP background and ERP proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of cost accounting experience in high-volume manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA or CMA a plus.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP; strong analytical skills and business judgment.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain standard costs and BOM/routing accuracy.
• Prepare and analyze material, labor, and overhead cost variances.
• Reconcile inventory and support valuation accuracy via physical and cycle counts.
• Lead monthly close for Revenue and COGS with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting for COGS and margins.
• Ensure SOX compliance and internal control integrity.

Job Overview:Senior Cost AccountantThe Senior Cost Accountant at Premier PV leads cost accounting for high-volume manufacturing, managing standard costs, variance analysis, and inventory reconciliations. This role partners with Operations and IT to ensure BOM and routing accuracy, drives margin insights, and supports month-end close, forecasting, and budgeting.
