Job summary

Loos & Co, a division of Central Wire (CWI) Group, seeks a Senior Cost Accountant to manage costing in a manufacturing environment, including standard costing, variances, and inventory valuation. The role collaborates with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain, with emphasis on D365 F&O, month-end close, audits, and cost controls.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in manufacturing cost accounting, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and strong Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 5+ years cost accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O in costing.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, BOMs, routings, variances, and inventory accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills for variance analysis and reconciliations.
• Experience supporting audits and maintaining documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain product costing, including BOMs, routings, labor, overhead, and machine rates in D365 F&O.
• Analyze variances and partner with Operations/Engineering to explain and resolve drivers.
• Ensure accurate work order and production order costing and closure.
• Monitor and correct inventory valuation, WIP, and manufacturing absorption accounts.
• Lead root-cause analysis of costing errors and implement corrective actions in D365.
