SNI Financial partners with a stable, large-scale manufacturing organization to hire a Senior Cost Accountant in Lewisville, Texas. This role offers significant exposure to operations, leadership, and career progression within a growth-oriented environment.

You will lead month-end close for plant operations, monitor production costs, support budgeting, and partner with operations to ensure accurate data tied to inventory and production activity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets.
• Progress toward or interest in a masters degree or CPA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close activities related to plant operations, including journal entries, account analysis, and variance explanations.
• Monitor and evaluate production-related costs, identifying trends and drivers impacting financial performance.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Partner with operations teams to ensure accurate financial data tied to inventory and production activity.
• Assist with cycle counts, physical inventory observations, and reconciliation processes.
• Analyze financial results and provide insights to leadership through reporting and ad hoc analysis.
