• Manufacturing accounting and inventory experience preferred.
• Prior staff leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP or integrated financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the company's accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and payroll activities.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure financial system integration transactions are processed accurately and timely.
• Develop, implement, and administer accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Maintain accounting controls related to inventory, purchasing, and other operational activities.
• Manage the day-to-day cash flow and monitor working capital needs.
• Oversee outstanding customer accounts and drive timely collections.
• Prepare and compile data for regularly scheduled and special accounting reports and statements.
• Coordinate year-end financial audits and 401(k) audits, including supporting documentation.
• Coordinate periodic customer and financial audits.
• Ensure compliance with tax, financial, and government reporting requirements.
• Maintain accurate financial and operating information to support decision-making.
• Provide accounting guidance to other areas of the organization.
• Train, coach, and develop accounting staff while managing priorities.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency.
