Job summary

Lanteris Space Systems in Palo Alto, CA is seeking an experienced Cost Account Manager to support Cost Plus Civil Space programs. You will manage cost accounts, monitor cost performance, and interact with engineering, procurement, scheduling and program management teams across the U.S.

The role requires a US citizen with 8+ years in cost accounting, CPFF/CPAF/CPIF experience, and strong forecasting. You will prepare EACs, ETCs, support audits, and ensure FAR/DFARS compliance while delivering

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen required.
• 8+ years of cost account management experience.
• Experience with Cost-Plus government contracts (CPFF, CPAF, CPIF).
• Experience forecasting, EACs, staffing, and resource planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost accounts, tracking labor, materials, subcontracts and direct costs.
• Monitor budget-to-actual variances and analyze cost performance.
• Develop and maintain EACs and ETCs.
• Support monthly close processes and reconciliations.
• Identify cost trends, risks, and opportunities for savings.
• Prepare variance analyses for management reviews.
• Support IBRs and other program reviews.
• Ensure FAR/DFARS compliance for Cost Plus programs.
• Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support government audits (DCAA/DCMA) with documentation and cost justification.
• Coordinate with procurement on subcontract cost management.
• Collaborate with accounting on cost allocation.
