Job summary

Lanteris Space Systems seeks an experienced Cost Account Manager to support Cost Plus Civil Space programs from Palo Alto, CA, with the option to perform the role remotely within the United States. The role focuses on managing cost accounts, monitoring cost performance, and maintaining EACs/ETCs while ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and contract requirements.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 8 years of cost account management experience, preferably in aerospace/defense.
• Experience with Cost-Plus government contracts (CPFF, CPAF, CPIF) with responsibility for technical, financial, and contractual performance.
• Experience forecasting, funding management, EACs, staffing and resource planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned cost accounts within Cost Plus programs including labor, materials, and subcontract costs.
• Monitor budget-to-actual variances and analyze cost performance.
• Develop and maintain EACs and ETCs.
• Support monthly financial close and reconciliation.
• Prepare variance analyses for management review.
• Support IBRs and other program reviews.
• Ensure FAR/DFARS compliance for Cost Plus contracts.
• Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with government audits (DCAA/DCMA) with cost justification.
• Collaborate with project leads, engineers, and program managers to forecast resource needs.
• Collaborate with procurement on subcontract cost management.
