Job summary

TA Resources LLC in Lake Forest, IL is seeking a Senior Chemist to lead all steps of formula development from ideation to final formulation. You will drive product innovation, engage with customers, and manage technology transfer to production.

This is a customer-facing role focused on delivering high-quality Personal Care formulations. The position requires 8–10 years of Personal Care formulation experience, OTC/Quasi Drug background, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of Personal Care formulation experience.
• OTC/Quasi Drug formulation experience.
• Strong command of English and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, develop, and formulate innovative, mutually profitable, safe, and effective products for both CM and customers.
• Manage and develop the R&D team to build SDB as a superior CM for innovation and technology.
• Work with Regulator Compliance Team.
• Responsible for growth of sales through new product development and customer relationships.
• Manage cost savings and process improvement programs per FY objectives.
• Provide technical support to production and process engineering for scale-up.
• Participate in hiring, retention and motivation of department staff.
• Meet with vendors and suppliers to stay updated with latest technology.
