Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a customer-focused technical support professional on a 12-month contract based in Plano, TX (Hybrid). You will handle post-sales inquiries, perform in-depth troubleshooting across Windows, Linux, and macOS, and coordinate with multiple teams to resolve complex issues.

Strong malware and security tooling knowledge is preferred. Responsibilities include triage, remote support, documenting actions, and driving root-cause investigations to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows OS, Linux OS and macOS based applications.
• Understanding malware, exploits, OS structure and behavior.
• Experience with MS environment (SCCM, GPO, AD, MSSQL, IIS).
• Knowledge of SIEM, vulnerability tools, and firewalls.
• Experience with Python scripting is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot across complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Respond to user-reported issues per SLAs.
• Triage issues via ticketing system, phone or remote sessions.
• Troubleshoot at application and OS levels.
• Identify fault areas and collaborate with teams to fix.
• Provide timely feedback on product problems.
• Document actions for internal and customer communications.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
