Job summary

Corrpro is seeking a Senior Corrosion Technician to test, evaluate and install cathodic protection systems on various structures. The role involves data gathering, surveys, and interfacing with clients to ensure design specifications are met.

You will work with engineers and field crews, coordinating testing activities and interpreting data to recommend corrosion-control measures. A strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred.
• AMPP CP Technician or Technologist Certification preferred.
• 4 years cathodic protection testing and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience managing projects with direct client interaction preferred.
• Strong team and external/internal customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform testing, evaluation and installation of cathodic protection systems.
• Monitor construction activities against design specifications.
• Gather data: structure-to-soil potentials, soil measurements and rectifier data.
• Conduct post-installation surveys and interference testing.
• Sketch rectifiers, anodes, test stations and installation features on drawings.
• Collaborate with Engineers on requirements and corrosion-control design.
