Job summary

Corrpro Companies is seeking a Corrosion Engineer with AMPP CP certification to design, evaluate, and monitor cathodic protection and other corrosion control systems for DoD projects. The role involves field testing, data analysis, and collaboration with internal teams.

Qualified candidates have a BS in Engineering, EIT preferred, and 2+ years of corrosion engineering experience. Travel may be required; competitive salary and full benefits offered.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical or Materials preferred).
• EIT, preferred.
• AMPP CP Technician Certification preferred.
• 2 years of corrosion engineering experience.
• Department of Defense/Military project experience helpful.
• Strong team and internal customer service skills required.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to travel overnight, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform design and evaluation of cathodic protection systems and other corrosion control systems on Department of Defense systems.
• Conduct various field tests to gather data for evaluation purposes.
• Monitor construction activities for adherence to design specifications.
• Conduct post-installation surveys, complete interference testing and energize rectifier systems.
• Organize and reduce data gathered, prepare charts and tables.
• Assemble field data for preparation of final client report including service recommendations.
• Diagnose and recommend remedies for system difficulties observed during resurvey operations.
• Recommend modifications to senior staff for approval.
• Assist senior staff in the preparation of survey and design reports and final job reports.
• Assist senior staff in analyzing requirements and the design of appropriate corrosion control measures.
• Provide maintenance of field test equipment, ensure good operation condition and render minor repairs.

Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services major oil companies, municipal water/sewer and gas utilities. Corrpro is a subsidiary of Azuria Water Solutions.
