Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of facility operations.
• Knowledge of Prisons’ policy and procedures.
• Must be eligible for certification by NC CJET Standards Commission.

Responsibilities

• Supervise subordinate officers and assign posts for 24/7 staffing.
• Conduct shift line-up and post inspections; evaluate performance.
• Complete time reports, duty rosters, leave schedules and evaluations.
• Account for persons and funds; ensure equipment is ready.
• Manage diverse duty assignments and custody of offenders.
