Washington State Department of Corrections seeks a Registered Nurse 3 for the Monroe Correctional Complex in Monroe, WA. The role oversees nursing staff, coordinates patient care, and maintains health records to support incarcerated individuals’ wellness.

The position requires WA RN licensure (or MLS under compact) and two years of RN experience, CPR training, and strong computer skills. Salary ranges monthly from $9,001 to $14,749 with a 1800–0430 shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Two years’ RN experience.
• CPR training for Healthcare Providers.
• Proficient with computer-based programs to schedule, monitor and document patient care.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight of nursing personnel.
• Ensure attendance and competence of nursing staff.
• Manage medication administration and storage areas.
• Write nursing care plans and maintain patient records.
• Participate in quality improvement projects and program initiatives.
