Job summary

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections seeks a Correctional Case Manager IV for Jess Dunn Correctional Center. You will perform routine social casework in offender classification and support the re-entry process into the community.

Responsibilities include interviewing offenders, assessing security risks and program needs, reviewing records, and guiding transition plans with community partners to ensure successful reintegration post-release.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree requirement and four years of correctional records management or social casework.
• Substitution rules allow a master's degree for one year of the required experience.
• No substitution for required specialized experience described for higher levels.

Responsibilities

• Uses interview techniques and assessment instruments to determine offenders' needs and recommends program assignments.
• Reviews offender records to determine progress or need for changing assignments or security classification.
• Advises offenders on personal problems, employment resources, vocational skills, education and training needs.
• Delivers programs to assist in re-entry into the community after release from incarceration.
• Develops, monitors, and amends offender transition plans in line with re-entry programs and services.
• Establishes collaborative networks with partners to provide pre- and post-release services.
