Job summary

State of Oklahoma's Department of Corrections seeks a Correctional Case Manager IV to oversee classification and program needs for offenders within a correctional facility. You will conduct assessments, prepare reports, and guide re-entry planning in collaboration with internal staff.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and several years of professional correctional casework or related supervision, with on-site duties at Jess Dunn Correctional Center. This is a full-time, non-remote position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with four years of correctional records management or social casework experience.
• Experience in classification and assignment, field supervision, or institutional records management preferred.
• On-site position; remote work not available.

Responsibilities

• Use interview techniques and assessment tools to determine offenders' risks and needs; prepare case histories and recommend program assignments.
• Review offender records to assess progress and adjust classifications or assignments accordingly; participate in classification unit.
• Advise offenders on personal problems, employment resources, and educational needs; support institutional adjustment.
• Deliver programs aiding re-entry into the community after incarceration.
• Prepare reports such as parole summaries or presentence investigations.
• Handle incoming/outgoing mail for offenders; support development of transition plans with community resources.
• Collaborate with partners to provide pre/post release services involving families and social services.
