Job summary

ArentFox Schiff LLP is seeking an associate for its Chicago office (preferable) or other offices to join the 5th year associate class or above in the Corporate & Securities group. The ideal candidate should have experience with private offerings, fund formations, and related fund documentation, including agreements and memoranda.

Experience on M&A teams is preferred and bar admission must be in good standing in the practicing state.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and writing skills are required.
• Excellent academic credentials and a desire to excel in a large law firm.

Responsibilities

• Join the Corporate & Securities practice as an associate (5th year class or above).
• Experience with private offerings and fund formations, including related agreements and documents.
• Drafting and negotiating private placement memoranda, subscription agreements, and fund documents; familiarity with M&A teams is preferred.
