Job summary

Permanent Placements LLC is representing a client seeking a mid-level Corporate & Securities Associate (4-6 years) to join its Chicago office.

The ideal candidate will have experience with private offerings and fund formation, including private investment funds, fund-of-funds, and related documentation such as PPMs, subscription agreements, LPAs, operating agreements, side letters, and investment management agreements.

Qualifications

• Experience with private offerings and fund formation, including private investment funds and funds of funds.
• Drafting and negotiating PPMs, subscription agreements, LPAs, operating agreements, side letters, investment management agreements, Form ADV, and related fund documentation.
• M&A transaction experience preferred.
• Excellent writing, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Strong academic credentials and interest in a sophisticated law firm practice.
• Active bar admission in Illinois (or ability to obtain admission).
