Job summary

Freedom House is seeking a Senior Development Officer to grow corporate partnerships, oversee revenue lines from philanthropy, events, and data licensing, and manage a robust pipeline with industry leaders.

Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer and Senior Director of Development, you will cultivate relationships with corporations, associations, and private-sector leaders to advance programmatic and earned revenue goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in corporate partnerships, business development, sponsorship sales, or related revenue-generating role.
• Experience translating research, data, or intellectual property into commercial products or services.
• Familiarity with ESG, corporate risk, technology policy, or geopolitical risk functions.
• Interest in human rights, democracy, or international affairs.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a pipeline of corporate prospects across sectors with interests in democracy, human rights, ESG and governance.
• Lead cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship for corporate partners with moves-management discipline.
• Maintain a current Salesforce pipeline with proposal stages, terms, and next steps.
• Support revenue targets and report progress to senior leadership.
• Coordinate with Communications and Policy teams to align corporate engagement with brand and mission.
