Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a seasoned workout professional to restructure large Corporate and Commercial loans. You will independently analyze loans to determine the best recovery strategy, including restructurings, forbearances, and bankruptcies, to secure repayment.

You will negotiate with borrowers and representatives, coordinate workout strategies with lenders, and mentor junior professionals while staying current on insolvency laws and creditor remedies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; Master degree a plus.
• Ten to fifteen years of workout experience with middle market and large corporate loans.
• Experience with syndicated credits; agent for syndicated credits a plus.
• CRE expertise is a plus; advanced knowledge of lending, policy, and workout processes.

Responsibilities

• Restructure large and complex Corporate/Commercial problem loans and determine effective strategies.
• Negotiate repayment agreements and monitor adherence with borrowers and lenders.
• Present complex credits and recommended actions to Senior Management clearly.
