Job summary

First Commonwealth Bank is seeking an experienced Loan Workout Specialist in Pittsburgh to manage restructuring and workout efforts for larger, complex business banking, commercial, and real estate loans. You will coordinate with Credit Administration and the business line to develop actionable turnaround plans, monitor collateral, and negotiate terms with borrowers.

Strong financial analysis and loan documentation review are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of five years related work experience in underwriting, commercial credit, or loan workouts.
Strong computer, analytical, and mathematical skills; MS Office proficiency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to locations.

Responsibilities

Restructure and work out large, complex business banking, commercial, and real estate loans.
Collaborate with Credit Administration and business line to develop workout strategies.
Monitor loan documentation for completeness and strategy to bring accounts current.
Negotiate with borrowers to restructure credits to terms consistent with workout plans.
Perform in-depth financial analysis and assess pro-forma projections for feasibility.
Prepare reports and present to Loan Committees; assist with collateral liquidation as needed.
