Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a credit professional to manage risk and profitability for a large credit portfolio. You will structure and negotiate major corporate banking/credit transactions and advise clients on financing strategies.

Required are 5-7 years of credit product experience, strong financial analysis, and ability to present risk to committees. Travel to client locations is expected; a comprehensive benefits package and discretionary bonus are offered.

Responsibilities

• Manages credit product risk and profitability for a large portfolio of credit clients.
• Structures and negotiates large corporate banking/credit transactions.
• Reviews transaction structuring with clients and advises on financing strategies.
• Analyzes and negotiates loan terms within policy; prepares financing docs.
• Monitors creditworthiness and presents risk to Loan/Credit Policy Committees.
• Travels to client locations as required and mentors junior staff.
