Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Sr. Credit Portfolio Manager to oversee credit risk and profitability for a portfolio of clients. You will analyze financial statements, support Relationship Managers, and prepare credit memoranda for approvals.

The role is office-based with a balanced hybrid schedule; 5-7 years in financial/credit analysis is required along with strong analytical and PC skills.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in financial and/or credit analysis.
• Knowledge of finance, accounting and investments.
• Ability to review credit risk and prepare presentations.
• Strong PC skills for financial spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Manages credit product risk and profitability for a portfolio of credit clients.
• Supports Relationship Managers through financial/credit analysis and underwriting.
• Researches financial statements and investment holdings.
• Evaluates liquidity, collateral, repayment sources and creditworthiness.
• Prepares and presents credit memoranda for approval.
• Coordinates legal documentation with stakeholders and monitors credit quality.
• Monitors loan portfolios and participates in client meetings.
