Job summary

UniCredit in New York seeks a highly motivated Credit Analyst to join the Business Credit Analysis team. You will perform in-depth credit analysis, support transaction structuring, and monitor a diverse corporate portfolio while engaging with senior bankers and risk partners across Europe.

You will develop five-year financial projections, assess leasing and liquidity needs, and present clear credit recommendations to committees. Strong modeling, Excel, and data tools are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of corporate credit analysis experience within banks or financial institutions.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, financial statement analysis, cash flow analysis, and corporate finance.
• Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, liquidity assessment, and stress-testing skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics; MBA/CFA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive credit analysis of corporate clients, including financial statement analysis and risk evaluation.
• Build and run five-year integrated financial and cash flow projection models to assess liquidity and debt capacity.
• Prepare credit applications, annual reviews, amendments, waivers, and other materials for credit committees.
• Analyze transaction structures, term sheets, and financing documentation to identify risks and structural considerations.
• Monitor an assigned portfolio and identify emerging credit risks and mitigation actions.
• Conduct industry and market research to assess sector trends and macro developments.
