You'll advise on contracting, public records, ethics, and MCCB-related governance, while collaborating with leadership and staff to manage risk and regulatory obligations. JD required; 7+ years preferred.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible legal experience in procurement/public sector/corporate counsel.
• Massachusetts Bar in good standing, or ability to obtain admission promptly.
• Expertise in public records laws, state ethics requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel across procurement, public records, ethics, governance, and MCCB matters.
• Draft legal memoranda, opinions, and contracts; supervise outside counsel.
• Advise on employment and HR matters; support risk assessment and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with procurement laws and internal policies.
• Provide training on records retention and transparency.
