Moore & Van Allen's Charlotte office is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join its Corporate practice group. The role focuses on representing public and private companies in commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance matters.

The ideal candidate has over three years of corporate in-house experience, with strong business acumen and excellent written and verbal communication. M&A experience is welcome but not required; the position involves drafting and negotiating

Qualifications

• Three+ years of corporate in-house experience.
• Juris Doctor degree required.
• Eligibility for North Carolina Bar admission preferred.
• Experience drafting and negotiating principal and ancillary agreements for supply, purchase, service, transportation, and other commercial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating principal and ancillary agreements for supply, purchase, service, transportation, and other commercial transactions.
• Provide pragmatic counsel with extensive client contact and collaboration within a team-oriented environment.
