Job summary

Ipsos is seeking a Contract Corporate Counsel for a 3-month hybrid role in Manhattan to support U.S. and Canadian clients. You will review, draft and negotiate client and vendor agreements, provide data privacy guidance, and collaborate with the Group General Counsel on global initiatives.

A JD and 8+ years of commercial-contract experience are required. You will lead trainings for internal teams, refine standard forms, and manage day-to-day legal matters while ensuring compliance across HIPAA,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and J.D. required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience working on commercial contracts.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating client and vendor contracts, NDAs, DPAs.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate client and vendor contracts, NDAs, DPAs, consulting agreements and any other commercial agreement relating to Ipsos's services.
• Work closely with client service teams to resolve legal issues related to commercial relationships.
• Provide advice on data privacy and security across jurisdictions (HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, etc.).
• Create and improve standard forms, processes and policies.
• Lead trainings of internal business teams on contractual terms and compliance.
• Assist with day-to-day legal matters and collaborate with Group legal on Americas-wide and global projects.
