Qualifications

• JD or equivalent from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission to at least one U.S. state in good standing.
• At least five years of relevant legal experience in technology transactions, software/SaaS, or AI/data matters.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills; high analytical and business judgment.

Responsibilities

• Operational Excellence: manage a rapid pipeline of deal inquiries with high-quality risk mitigation.
• Contracting: draft and negotiate complex AI procurement, SaaS, and data licensing agreements, and advise business leaders at all levels.
• Oversight: lead negotiation process and quality control for contract lifecycle with AI tools.
• Thought Leadership: stay current on AI/data regulations and benchmarking; translate into internal playbooks and guidelines.
• Collaboration: drive cross-functional initiatives related to contracts and data and AI strategy.
• Strategic Guidance: translate complex regulatory and legal risks into practical advice for internal clients on terms, risks and mitigations.
• Innovation Champion: leverage AI-powered analytics and legal tools to automate routine tasks, focusing on high-value strategy and complex negotiations.
• Trusted Advisor: build strong relationships across the business on legal and contractual issues impacting product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies.
