Job summary

The Mom Project is partnering with a client seeking a Corporate Counsel to manage AI procurement, SaaS and data licensing deals. The role focuses on negotiating complex agreements, mitigating risk, and guiding internal teams on evolving AI regulations.

Ideal candidates have a JD, bar admission, and at least five years of tech transactions experience, with strong drafting and negotiation skills to support product roadmaps and data strategies.

Qualifications

• JD required from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to at least one U.S. state bar or relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum five years of relevant tech/AI/data-related legal experience.
• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills; strong analytical ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage a rapid pipeline of deal inquiries with high-quality risk mitigation.
• Draft and negotiate AI procurement, SaaS, and data licensing agreements.
• Lead negotiation processes and quality control for contract lifecycle augmented by AI tools.
• Stay current on AI/data regulations and translate into internal playbooks and guidelines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on contracts and data/AI strategy.
• Translate regulatory risks into practical guidance for internal clients.
