Job summary
Deltek, a leader in enterprise software solutions, seeks a Senior Corporate Counsel for its in-house legal team. You will draft, review, and negotiate technology and licensing agreements, advise on regulatory matters for government contractors, and partner with Sales and Customer Success to ensure compliant, business-friendly outcomes.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years in-house or law firm experience, with strong experience in SaaS, IP licensing, and data privacy.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school; Virginia bar or ability to obtain Virginia Corporate Counsel registration.
- 5+ years of relevant in-house or law firm experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with SaaS, enterprise software or GovCon-focused companies.
- Business-oriented, pragmatic approach to identifying and managing legal risk.
- Strong drafting, review, and negotiation abilities.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate technology/licensing agreements.
- Advise on legal/regulatory issues for Government Contractors.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams.
- Manage legal risk in a high-volume contract pipeline.
- Stay current on AI tech and its legal implications.
