Job summary

Prime Finance is seeking a Collaborative Corporate Controller for the San Francisco-based Corporate Accounting team. You will lead a multi-entity close, drive budgeting/forecasting, and develop a growing accounting group with a focus on controls and governance.

Ideal candidate has 8–12+ years in corporate/fund accounting and strong leadership experience. Expect strong interaction with executives and cross-functional partners, plus data analytics, automation, and AI-enabled reporting to scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
• 8-12+ years in corporate accounting, fund accounting, or both, with leadership experience.
• Experience with multi-entity allocations, private equity/real estate funds, and governance.
• Strong communication and collaboration with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close for multiple entities and cost centers.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across entities.
• Strengthen internal controls and financial reporting processes.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff to support growth.
• Coordinate with HR for payroll entries and audit/tax requests.
