Job summary

Talently is seeking a Corporate Controller for a fast-growing construction client. This hands-on leadership role offers ownership over the numbers, direct collaboration with senior finance leadership, and clear impact on business decisions.

You will oversee multi-entity accounting, ensure GAAP-compliant close, manage project accounting (POC), internal controls, and audits, and guide a regional finance team toward accurate reporting and process improvements.

Qualifications

• CPA certification or active license
• Experience leading accounting across multiple entities or locations
• Strong knowledge of percentage-of-completion (POC) and WIP
• Proven ability to implement and enforce internal controls

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a regional finance team across multiple business units.
• Own project accounting from contract progress to revenue recognition.
• Drive monthly close cycle improvements and reduce manual effort.
• Consolidate financial data and resolve cross-entity discrepancies.
• Coordinate with auditors and keep entities audit-ready year-round.
• Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and compliance across the region.
