Job summary

Align is seeking an Assistant Corporate Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls for a rapidly growing construction company specializing in hyperscale data center fit-out projects. Hybrid role based in Woodbridge, NJ with two days onsite weekly.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, ERP experience, and exceptional Excel skills. Competitive benefits and travel included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Experience with multi-state construction operations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements per U.S. GAAP.
• Oversee project accounting, job costing, and revenue recognition.
• Maintain internal controls and assist with audits and tax engagements.
• Coach accounting staff and support finance leadership.
