Soleo Health is seeking a Corporate Controller in Chesterfield, MO to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance. This senior role partners with executives to ensure financial accuracy and scalable processes across the organization.

You will oversee close cycles, audit readiness, and financial systems optimization while driving strategic support and operational excellence. CPA and 10+ years’ leadership in accounting are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• CPA required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience with leadership overseeing accounting functions.
• Strong experience with financial reporting, audits, and internal controls.
• Proven ability to operate at a senior leadership level with executives.
• Experience managing and developing high-performing accounting teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Advanced proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, including financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, and month-end/year-end close processes.
• Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve internal controls, policies, and procedures for compliance and audit readiness.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors, internal audits, and regulatory examinations.
• Direct the preparation of financial reports and provide insights to support executive decision-making and business strategy.
• Oversee and optimize financial systems, processes, and reporting tools for scalability and efficiency.
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, HR, and executives to align financial operations with business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting operations, including automation and system enhancements.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing accounting team, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
• Establish goals, performance expectations, and accountability across the team.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability within finance.
• Evaluate team structure and capabilities to scale the function with business growth.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, and financial reporting requirements.
