Job summary

General Atomics is seeking a versatile attorney for our La Jolla/Torrey Pines Law Department to provide broad corporate, contract and compliance support. The role involves drafting and negotiating contracts, advising on risk, and supporting complex corporate matters.

Key duties include coordinating with outside counsel, handling governance and transactional work, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. A CA-licensed JD with 2+ years of experience is required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate and law degrees with license to practice in CA or relevant jurisdiction.
• 2+ years of progressively complex legal experience.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate domestic and international contracts.
• Advise management on legal risks and strategic contracting.
• Support corporate governance and transactional matters.
