Job summary

Disc Medicine is seeking an Associate Director of Corporate Communications to shape and execute the company narrative across media, investor relations, and internal audiences. The role will lead press releases, presentations, and website/content efforts while coordinating with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, impactful communications throughout the launch lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in communications, public relations, or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in corporate communications and/or investor relations in biotech/pharma preferred.
• Experience supporting strategic decision-making with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to lead communications strategy across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

• Own development of press releases, corporate presentations, and Q&A documents from drafting to distribution.
• Support launch and product commercialization communications with Commercial, Medical, and Legal functions.
• Maintain external communications calendar with milestones, investor events, and industry conferences.
• Monitor news coverage and provide leadership with summary reports.
• Manage media relationships and develop background materials for external messaging.
• Develop social media strategy and manage corporate channels.
