Agios Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Manager of Corporate Communications to lead internal and employee communications and connect strategy with people across the company.

You will translate company priorities into clear messages, plan all-company gatherings, and collaborate with leaders and HR to shape culture and engagement. This role emphasizes storytelling, editorial planning, and external communications support within a hybrid Cambridge, MA setting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech communications.
• Experience leading internal and employee communications in a complex, fast-moving org.
• Strong operational and project management capabilities for company-wide meetings/events.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical communications in a regulated industry.
• Experience supporting corporate social media & digital communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal communications strategy aligning employees with mission and priorities.
• Own coordination for all-company meetings and enterprise-wide moments.
• Plan and execute in-person gatherings (up to two per year) with content, exec participation, and logistics.
• Coordinate with executive/administrative teams for seamless communications across stakeholders.
• Provide strategic counsel and develop clear, compelling messaging for senior leaders.
• Translate complex scientific and business topics into accessible communications.
• Support corporate social media and external communications storytelling.
• Identify opportunities to extend stories across internal and external channels.
• Collaborate with external partners to deliver high-quality work and execution.
