Job summary

Mazda USA is seeking a Corporate Audit Manager to oversee Mazda North American Operations’ audit activities, including J-SOX ITGC testing, risk assessments, and internal controls evaluation. The role partners with senior management to improve governance and operational excellence across MMA, MCI, MMSCO and MCOL.

You will lead audit teams, manage staff development, and ensure adherence to IIA standards while communicating audit plans and risks to leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in audits within internal audit or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fields is required.
• CPA or CIA certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute risk-based operational audits and J-SOX ITGC testing.
• Prepare audit risk assessments and long-term Audit Plan.
• Lead audits and projects, including evaluating remediation efforts.
• Oversee staff development and adherence to IIA standards.
• Present audit results to management and Audit Committee.
