Mazda Motor Corporation in the United States is seeking a Corporate Audit Manager to lead audit activities for Mazda North America Operations, including J-SOX ITGC testing and risk-based audits across MMA, MCI, MMSCO and MCOL. The role partners with leadership to strengthen controls and compliance while guiding internal audit staff.

The ideal candidate will manage audits, develop risk assessments, and present findings to senior management and the Audit Committee.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience managing audits within internal audit functions or related accounting roles in a professional automotive sale, distribution, financial, or corporate services audit environment, and/or with a public accounting firm required.
• CPA or CIA preferred; CIS A certification upon hire may be required.
• Proficiency in GAAP and IIA Standards; strong data analytics and risk assessment capabilities.

Responsibilities

• (50%) Corporate Audit: manage all aspects of audits including J-SOX ITGC testing, audit planning and reporting.
• Prepare audit risk assessments and execute long-term Audit Plan across Mazda North American entities.
• Deliver audits and special projects timely; support expansion into new markets.
• Ensure workpapers adhere to Corporate Audit Standards and IIA Standards.
• Oversee audits to identify risks and mitigation; provide advisory insights.
