Job summary

Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) is seeking a Corporate Audit Manager to lead risk-based audits across MMA, MCI, MMSCO and MCOL, ensuring robust internal controls and compliance to support objectives.

You will guide audit planning, execute ITGC testing, and mentor staff, while partnering with Mazda Corporate GLAD to report findings and mitigate risks. Bilingual capabilities and strong GAAP knowledge are valued assets.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience managing audits within internal audit functions or related accounting roles, in a professional automotive sale, distribution, financial, or corporate services audit environment, and/or with a public accounting firm required
• CPA or CIA required upon hire
• CISA required upon hire
• Knowledge of internal auditing standards and GAAP; proficient with data analytics and AI/agent tools

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate audits and risk assessment activities across Mazda North American Operations entities (MMA, MCI, MMSCO and MCOL).
• Plan and execute risk-based operational audits and J-SOX ITGC testing; develop and oversee audit programs and reports.
• Mentor staff, manage resources including temporary staff, and ensure adherence to Corporate Audit Standards and IIA standards.
• Collaborate with management to identify root causes, remediation steps, and actionable recommendations.
• Present audit plans and results to management and the Audit Committee; coordinate with GLAD and corporate stakeholders.
