Key Duties
- Negotiate and draft commercial agreements, including M&A documents, joint venture agreements, and shareholder agreements.
- Advise clients on day-to-day corporate governance, compliance, and entity structuring matters.
- Support M&A and private equity transactions from due diligence through post-closing integration.
- Collaborate with partners and colleagues across practice areas to deliver business-focused legal solutions.
- Represent clients in high-stakes corporate matters, providing strategic and practical advice.
Ideal Candidate
- 5-8 years of corporate law experience in a law firm setting.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong drafting and negotiation skills.
- Collaborative team player, comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Background in M&A, contracts, governance, and entity structuring.
- Admitted to practice in New York.
Base pay range
$200,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr
