Job summary

Sekisui House U.S., Inc. in Denver seeks a Senior Corporate Accountant to support the consolidated general ledger, month-end close, and internal control processes. You will prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and assist with audits and external reporting.

Requires Active CPA, a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, 4+ years of progressive accounting or audit experience, and strong GAAP knowledge. The role offers a hybrid work model with a comprehensive benefits package and base salary

Qualifications

• Active CPA Certification.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting or audit experience.
• Experience with public accounting, audits, internal controls, SOX compliance, corporate accounting and consolidations.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare standard and specialized financial reports and perform complex accounting functions.
• Analyze areas such as Accrued Liabilities, Leases, SG&A, and other corporate accounting areas.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, consolidation steps, and intercompany entries for monthly close.
• Provide monthly analytics and flux analysis for SG&A, income statement, and balance sheet.
