Job summary

Ketjen Corporation seeks a seasoned Corporate Accountant to support accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and close processes. Based in our Houston area Clear Lake office, this role combines journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses with cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid work environment.

The ideal candidate has 8–10+ years in corporate accounting, CPA, and a Master’s in Accounting, with SAP and BPC experience, and strong Excel, communication, and analytical skills to manage

Qualifications

• 8 to 10+ years of experience in corporate accounting or related field.
• CPA certification and a master’s degree in accounting.
• Experience with SAP and BPC systems; strong GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Review journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and other GAAP-based transactions.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports, footnotes, and disclosures for internal and external reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support SOX/compliance activities.
• Identify process improvements and support ERP and system implementations.
