Job summary

Visual Comfort & Co. is seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee the accumulation, classification and recording of financial transactions in accordance with U.S. GAAP.

The role covers general ledger, monthly close, accounts payable, revenue, inventory costing, payroll, tax matters, and financial reporting, collaborating with FP&A and business partners. The ideal candidate has a Bachelors in accounting, 4+ years in corporate accounting and at least 2 years in public accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 4+ years in corporate accounting with public accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with enterprise ERP systems and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly close and journal entries.
• Produce reliable monthly divisional financial statements for internal/external reporting.
• Support tax activities, audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with FP&A and business partners on financial matters.
• Oversee accounts payable, revenue, inventory costing, and cash management.
