Clear Comfort Water is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to own the day-to-day accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll administration, and tax-related tasks. This role will collaborate with the CFO and offer growth toward more complex close and reporting responsibilities in a growing small business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of accrual accounting and GAAP.
• Experience with AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Own the accounts payable process, including invoice entry, coding, approvals, and payment prep.
• Maintain vendor records and documentation.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor issues.
• Record daily banking and cash activity; maintain documentation.
• Administer payroll processes and coordinate with Gusto.
• Prepare and file recurring sales tax returns.
