Job summary

PROENERGY in Sedalia, MO is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to maintain complete and accurate records and support US GAAP financial operations. You will manage month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and fixed asset maintenance.

The role collaborates across departments, analyzes variances, prepares reports, supports audits, and drives process improvements in the finance function. A Bachelor's in Accounting and 3–7 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar.
• 3–7 years of accounting/finance experience.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end close including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure accurate transaction processing.
• Prepare internal financial reports and variance analyses.
• Support external audits and financial statement preparation.
• Utilize GAAP knowledge to maintain proper financial controls.
