Job summary

Lucent Health is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to support the Corporate Finance team with month-end close, financial reporting and special projects. You will work closely with the Manager of Corporate Accounting and interact with other departments, gaining exposure to the C-suite.

The role requires know-how of month-end close, process automation, and the ability to work independently. We value data-driven analysis and the use of AI tools to drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• Public accounting background and CPA strongly preferred.
• Solid grasp of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Ability to analyze and interpret large financial datasets; SQL knowledge a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas)
• NetSuite and Ramp experience is a plus, but not required.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Strong organization and time management skills; ability to handle multiple projects.
• Proactive self-starter who takes ownership and can think creatively to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly internal and external financial reporting packages.
• Assist with annual financial statement preparation, audit, and other compliance requirements.
• Prepare ad-hoc reporting as needed.
• Analyze underlying data to catch discrepancies, trends, and anomalies.
• Improve and automate processes where possible, leveraging AI tools to drive efficiency.
