Dyno Nobel North America is seeking a corporate accountant to perform routine and general accounting, including month-end close and reconciliations, for the North America region in Salt Lake City.

You will prepare statements, support audits, and collaborate with finance staff to ensure accuracy and timely reporting. The ideal candidate has a degree in accounting, 3+ years experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (preferred) or finance required, CPA preferred.
• 3+ years experience preferred, but may be a recent college graduate
• Knowledge of accounting journal entries and how entries impact financial statements
• Knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
• Requires working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Knowledge or ability to learn SAP and company accounting software

Aufgaben

• Assist with month end close procedures including booking journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
• Prepare a variety of accounting statements such as working papers, schedules, exhibits, or summaries to provide business information to management and field personnel.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing documents to audit teams as requested.
• Communicate with supervisors; managers; field staff; and other business, corporate, accounting, and finance staffs to obtain and exchange information
• Perform planning, primarily regarding individual workload to meet deadlines and business objectives.
