Job summary

Manufacturing Company in Orland Park, IL is seeking a CPA with 3-5 years of accounting experience to own the month-end close and provide rigorous analysis. This full-time, direct-hire role partners with Commercial Finance, Global Supply Chain and FP&A to drive accurate forecasting and cost insights.

You will maintain audit-ready supporting documentation, perform control reviews, help ensure US GAAP compliance, and contribute to process improvements across end-to-end accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA required
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, public accounting and/or manufacturing industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own month end close
• Execute the accounting and analysis
• Partner with Commercial Finance, Global Supply Chain, and FP&A
• Support the analysis of actual commercial and operations-related costs against forecast
• Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready support for assigned accounting areas
• Perform control reviews for assigned processes, identify accounting or documentation gaps, implement corrective actions, and help ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP
• Improve and document end-to-end accounting processes
• Review work prepared by junior and mid-level analysts
• Support internal and external audits

Type: Full-Time, Permanent/Direct Hire

Pay Range: $100,000 - $105,000 base salary plus profit sharing
