Job summary

AquantUs, LLC in the United States seeks a Senior Accountant to support a corporate office and multi-location US manufacturing and distribution center. You will execute month-end close, prepare complex journal entries, and ensure GL integrity.

You will analyze variances, assist in consolidations, and drive improvements in reconciliation quality. A CPA and private equity exposure are highly valued in this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Corporate accounting and/or private equity background.
• Strong command of US GAAP and standards.
• Proven experience supporting month-end close and audit cycles.
• Technical accounting depth.
• Cost accounting and inventory accounting exposure.
• SOX experience (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• CPA required.

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned month-end close activities in accordance with established close calendar and deadlines.
• Prepare, review, and post complex journal entries with complete and well-documented support.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, including proper classification and cut-off.
• Analyze account activity and investigate variances, unusual trends, or discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly consolidated financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.
• Support consolidation processes within Oracle FCCS, including intercompany eliminations and reporting package submissions.
• Prepare and submit required financial reports to parent company ensuring alignment with group reporting requirements and timelines.
• Maintain and enhance reporting packages, schedules, and supporting analytics.
• Prepare and present detailed balance sheet account reconciliations on a monthly basis.
• Ensure all reconciliations are fully supported, reviewed, and compliant with internal policies.
• Identify and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner, escalating issues as needed.
• Drive improvements in reconciliation quality, standardization, and automation.
