Core Responsibilities

  • Project Billing & Analysis: Coordinate subcontractor payment applications, verify sworn statements, utilize advanced billing software platforms, and support percentage-of-completion accounting and WIP reporting.
  • Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Collect, review, and track contractual compliance documentation, including vendor insurance certificates, conditional/unconditional lien waivers, and corporate endorsements.
  • Audit Support: Provide direct analytical support to the executive finance team during the annual financial statement audit by preparing complex schedules, gathering documentation, and organizing workpapers.
  • Operational Integration: Partner across project management teams to coordinate vendor compliance, streamline accounts payable processing, manage job-site resource contracts, and execute comprehensive project closeout documentation.
Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of corporate accounting, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or financial reporting experience.
  • Technical Literacy: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel) and Adobe Acrobat. Hands-on experience with modern Cloud ERP, document control, or complex enterprise billing platforms is highly preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience working within commercial contracting, general industrial development, or multi-entity commercial operations is preferred but not required; candidates must demonstrate a strong aptitude for learning complex operational frameworks.
  • Professional Alignment: Exceptional precision, organizational skills, intellectual curiosity, and the communication skills required to interface effectively with external business partners and internal executives.
  • Credentials: Notary Public certification is preferred or must be willing to obtain upon hire.
  • Retirement Savings: 401(k) featuring annual discretionary company matching and profit-sharing eligibility; employees also have equity participation eligibility
  • Insurance Coverage: Company covers 100% of the employee’s individual medical premium
